The room and the view are great. Efficient housekeeping
Staff shortage in M bar, had to wait quite a bit to get served- free usage of the pool table was good. Throughout my stay, never got a deck chair with umbrella to use. It was always full. Òur belongings had to be hung on the steel rails- and tied- mind you. Management should look into adding more deckchairs with umbrellas. Here too there was a shortage of staff- had to wait for towels. Dont understand the parking system..noticed quite a number of parking lots reserved but no car- frustrating scenario!..shouldnt it be on a first come first serve basis?

Good staycation!
The efficient front desk staff, Ms. Michelle, who so kindly cater to our request for an adjoining room. Also, the ever helpful & friendly Mercure staff. The ambiance of the rooms is great too - simply awesome!
The food served @ Ombak restaurant. We chose to dine-in there once we checked-in at around 5pm. We ordered for 4 pax. But sadly, the food was not worthy of a good rated hotel like Mercure. The taste was bland & didn't look appetising at all + it didnt seem to be of fresh ingredients too. The plating also left a bitter taste in the mouth - way too basic for a rated hotel like Mercure. I truly wish the Ombak restaurant can gain back its 'shine' in providing quality food & service like it used to before. For the record, we are regular guests @ Mercure & it pains us to see the kind of bad food quality like we experienced recently.
